You break the bread
You pour the wine
You say, take, eat
To make you mine
And so I eat and drink for you
But still no peace I find

I pray to you
To end my hurt
To stop the pain
I feel like dirt
My burdens help me bear
Yet you don't answer me

I scream to the night
With dying breath
That you find me
As I find my death
And bring me home to you
But instead you give me life

I curse at you
And cry to you
And ask you why
You saved me too
For pain that never ends
With no help and no friends

Why save my life
To let me live
In hell on earth
That's what you give
Salvation you impart to me
I wish you'd let me die

I scream one time
I scream real loud
My death shall come
Like every cloud
And then my pain will finally end
Shall you be waiting for me then?
