Undying Love

by Mandy   Mar 10, 2007

I'm thinking of you,
As I lie in my bed,
There's not much to do,
But simply rest my head.

I wonder what you might be doing,
As I'm thinking of you,
If you're doing the same,
And feel the same way I do.

It's been a while now,
Since we've said more that "Hey!"
Just have a simple conversation,
It may happen some day.

I sit up in my bed,
As I watch a shooting star flashes by,
but at the same time,
I begin to cry.

I'm sick of chasing you,
Cause I'm simply out of breath,
And even sometimes at night,
I think of suicidal death.

Just taking a gun,
And pointing it to my head,
The next morning,
My parents would find me dead.

But suddenly the phone rings,
And I realize that it's you,
You tell me you love me,
And ask if I love you too.

There was an awkward silence,
As my heart skipped a beat,
My heart filled with excitement,
And I sprang to my feet.

I finally calmed myself,
And lifted the phone up to my ear,
I tell him I've loved him,
Since I saw him that first year.
