The Void

by Joe   Mar 10, 2007

The empty void has finally taken over.
Fear build up as life becomes meaningless.
See he appears as though he doesn't hurt or is even lost and confused, but when he gets home death becomes an option and a friend.
He finds his knife and begins to scrape against his skull as he thinks.
He begins to think about how life has become nothing but pain and disappointment.
Tears begins to fall down his cheek as the image of his true love is all he sees.
He can taste the blood on his lips as the knife has broken the skin.
He begins to hear voices say "Do it, you know you want to.'
"Life is pointless, something better is waiting for you."
Giving up he whispers, "I love you sweetheart, I'm sorry i wasn't stronger."
He puts the knife up to his wrist and as his eyes close for the last time, he finally lets life go.
