Tears

by kelly tavern   Mar 10, 2007

Silents tears i wept
each and every time i slept
I see you there, your face a haze
Im hearing you speak, speak my name
forget me and live your life
it cut deep, deep like a knife
as my mother was my life
when she passed
it seemed time had elasped
nothing had meaning
as I stood there screaming
as her body was lowered
slowly ever so slowly
I stood and stared
and simply I glared
at the hole in the ground
that my mom was now bound
