Freedom Bells

by Michael D Nalley   Mar 10, 2007

From the sacred days of "In God we trust"
Came the valuable constitution of the just
Allegiance to one nation under the divine
From, and by the people unanimous in design

Unity in diversity through undivided unity
Freedom of choice with indiscriminate impunity
The sovereign will of the people is demanding
To worship the God of their own understanding

The spirit of the free will must follow a course
Our government is not to interfere by force
My Savior said "render to Caesar" only his things
We must hold on to our soul where freedom rings
