Whenever i see you
i want to run
i try to think back
to when this all begun

i try to escape
just by running
but maybe i cant always
be running from loving

i close my eyes
trying not to see you
people stare
saying what a fool

the smile that i will fall for
if i see it now
i try my hardest to look
down

the promise i made to myself
after we were through
