Beauty in the sky
viewed with sparkling eyes
of two lovers on a beach

Shimmering silver obelisk
set in black tapestry
speckled with gemstones

Slowly being devoured
in a spectacle
of cosmic intrigue

Waves lap the shore
as darkness consumes
Night's Emperess

The tides ebb and flow
as the lovers await
the return of light

Bodies entwined
skyward gazes illuminated
tears glistening on cheeks

The median reached
dark shadow recedes
bright orb re-appears

Warmth in their hearts
as passion ignites
under the Lunar Eclipse
