Worthless

by lyssa   Mar 11, 2007

Out by a tree,
I see a limb,
I think to myself,
It's calling me,
I hear my name,
Being whispered in the wind,
What would I lose?
If I wondered near, what would I lose?
I have to put aside my fear,
So with this rope,
And my life,
I take my pride,
And hold on tight,
I cannot breath,
It's getting dark,
I cannot see,
It seems so far,
But then it's over,
And I look down,
And see my lifeless body,
On the ground,
"Why did she do it?"
"What had she become?"
All I was thinking was,
The battle was won.
