Here I am
and there you are
with all those smiling faces

I glance over at you
as you laugh and smile
not even looking once at me

as I look away
laughing and talking
with those around me
vaguely remembering what i say

in a moment,
there you stand,
talking
as i stare in disbelief

Not even looking at me
not even for a moment
laughing
talking
smiling

all so fake

what is there to do
when he won't ever love me
and yet
i'm falling harder and harder.

all i can do
is fake every moment.
