then the days went on, and i didn't hear from you
what was happening? did i disappear to you?
so i called you one night, you said we'd hang out
i called you the next day and they said you'd went out
i guess you forgot about our plans

so then days passed by and they turned into weeks,
but to me time stood still, the color, gone from my cheeks.
then i saw you again, i went out to your house
you said about 3 words, you were as quiet as a mouse.
the silent treatment? so thats what i get?
i never did anything! but i wont throw a fit, I'm going to act like I'm okay, like i don't need you, like i need you this way.
all the stupid poems that i wrote about you,
all the stupid words you said that weren't true.
