With nobody

by Steven   Mar 12, 2007

Wake up everyday
nobody seems to be there when i open my eyes
walk to the kitchen
nobody seems to be there cooking
sit alone at the kitchen table
eating a bowl of cereal
with nobody there to eat along with me
walking in the house hall
with nothing there on those wooden floor
back to my room
the colors of white and black
with nothing there in my room
getting ready for school
and leaving the house door
with nobody there to send me off
walking to school on a raining day
with nobody next to me to talk too
going to every class at school
with nobody there to notice me
coming back from school from a long day
with nobody to say good bye too
finish my homework alone in my room
with nobody to share answers with
taking a shower late at night
with nobody to think about
going to sleep with my eyes closed
with nobody there to say
good night
going on with life
with nobody there

I feel as though this is almost the story of my life. It feels like no one cares, everyone's just passing me by, no one really sees me even though they all talk to me. This was a really good poem. So great job.
