This Night belonged to us.

by Mitternacht in Liebe   Mar 12, 2007

This night belongs to us, one moon, one thought, one heart. I never knew these secrets would become my life. Now I sit wondering why. Your eyes see right through my tainted lies. Yet you twist and bend like London Bridge trying to make these broken ends meet. In my time of blinded faith, you stood idle by. All the while watch your love as it flew away. With open arms you call out, with every last breath you beckon it back. As the life escapes form your broken body I remind myself this night was our own, one moon, one heart, one thought. A broken promise fades into the darkness while the last breath tramples out of your cold blue lips.
