A day in the life of her

by sweetiepie18   Mar 12, 2007

She watches as the rain falls down,
her cheeks are soaking wet,
the tears that sting her sad eyes,
show the picture of regret.

flooding waters of a broken heart,
destruction reigns within,
but no one sees how much it hurts,
she's haunted by her sin.

tears drip onto the pillow case,
the sheets are soaked with sweat,
the thunder clouds are beckoning,
but it's not over yet.

snow falls down from heaven,
numbing everything but her,
emotion burning deep within,
has once more failed to cure.

the frost remains,
for that there is no cure,
the cold harsh weather has turned her cold.
thats of one thing to be sure.
