Life Goes On

Everyone keeps asking me if I am alright,
They think that I should've at least tried to fight.

For people who never liked him from the start
They act like I should have a broken heart.

It's not that he wasn't important to me,
It's just that I understand that we're not meant to be.

For so long him and I were all I ever knew,
now that we're over I have a different view.

I learned so much from him over the years,
The memories I'll cherish both of smiles and of tears.

I have no hard feelings that he put us to an end,
The only thing i want is for us to remain friends.
