The Blade Hunter

by Kevin Pike   Mar 12, 2007

The fearless human
Once lived in the burning underground
Breathing in the hatred from around him
Suffocating on his broken bones

Then came along his Saviour
Giving him the strength he needed
Cursing his unwanted nightmares
Moving forward in his own world

He now gets his revenge
By killing those who were once killing him
The world has a new worry
From someone who goes by the name The Blade Hunter

He hunts for himself
His blades have been touched with fallen blood
This drives him that much further
In his own sick and twisted dreams

The hunter will never stop
Good or bad, he doesn't care anymore
His powers growing ever stronger
Our kind will no longer be the same

...I don't know what to say...It's not one of the best or one of the strongest I've seen. I do like the subject though because it is different. But it's a bit weak in the beginning. I find the third stanza the one that stands out. Diction wasn't great but it does give it something. Overall it's good but not the best. It's definitely word choice that kinda puts this down in my opinion.
