I must say I'm sorry I didn't mean for things to be like this
I'm sorry for being there for you always, and I'm not even the one you miss
I'm sorry for waiting at home while you stayed out late
I'm sorry for making sure every-night I fixed you a hot plate
I'm sorry for giving 9 years out of my life
I'm sorry I wasn't good enough to become your wife
I'm sorry I cried when you broke my heart
I'm sorry you let other things tear us apart
I'm sorry I loved you more than I loved myself
I'm sorry I put you above everyone else
I'm sorry I never lied to you even when I knew you'd get mad
I'm sorry that fighting with you always made me sad
I'm sorry I only tried to get through to you
I'm sorry I tried to stop you from being a fool
I'm sorry I was there each time you needed to talk
I'm sorry for all the moments you pulled the car over and made me walk
I'm sorry opening my arms to you each time you felt low
I'm sorry I never wanted you to go
I'm sorry that I tried to satisfy you all the time
I'm sorry that your no longer mine
I'm sorry for letting you hurt me over and over again
I'm sorry for always being your friend
I'm sorry for all these nice things I did for you
Since you never realized my love was true

    That is such a powerful poem. It hit me like a ton of bricks. It has so much meaning and devotion in it. I dont know why but their is something about it that makes me just feel....Well, I'm not sure of the feeling but anyway, Dont feel sorry he should be the one sorry especially since he didn't realize the love you tried to give him.
