Cascading Sunset

by Rebecca   Mar 12, 2007

So beautiful and radiant,
It bathes the skyline with natural art.
The giant orange fire ball reflects off the windows,
Creating different colors is just the start.

The red, orange, yellow, purple and blue sky,
Cascades to the horizon all around.
The iridescent light dimming,
Is everywhere to be found.

The fiery colors blend in together,
Stars appear in the darkening sky.
Warming colors start to disappear,
Feeling the tranquility starting to die.

Navy blue starts to take over,
Covering the town in a blanket so dark.
Do not worry, for it will be back tomorrow,
Embedded in the night sky, the cascading sunset left its mark.
