Paint my heart out

by Lucifers lair   Mar 12, 2007

Paint my heart out
Ole' dieing friend.
Using your powerful strokes,
of brushing on the desire
that threatens to spill
over the bucket of red paint.
To blend over my modesty.
The dark colors you drew,
over the half-drawn faces.
The kitty-Kat ears over their heads.
represents my past mind.
was plucked from my head,
And colored over
with heart-filled pencils.

I really liked this one, which is strange cos free verses aren't normally my thing, lol
But the meanings in this were to great an opportunity to pass up on.
I spent a long time reading and re'reading and i'm thoroughly satisfied with what i gained from it.
    An outstanding piece!

Amazing! Oh wow...If I ever need someone to write something eloquent and full of metaphors and deep in figurative meaning, i would definately come to you. So amazing. If I didn't know you well, perhaps I wouldn't understand the foundation of your poetry, but since I do I must say it's always a breathtaking read. =]
