You Are Two People

by winterseve28   Mar 13, 2007

I love two people
But they reside as one
Inside the body that houses them,
With each, I come undone

You each affect me differently
You each make me insane
The first with love
And the other with pain

When you are here with me
We share everything together
My uncertainties disappear
Memories we make will last forever

I feel that I have found
The person I would like to be
On the other side
Of the alter from me

But

When you are gone
I dont know who you are,
Where you go, or when you will return
Away, youve gone so far.

Time slows down
It seems to stop entirely
Causing insanity in my mind
Burning a hole in my belly

I dont know how to merge the two
Or how to cope with what I feel
A reality that will never change
I have to learn how to deal
