My prayer

This is kind of a guy and girl poem thing. So you'll have to follow along. I'll try to make it easier on you.

Guy:
Lord you've given me
more than I deserve
but I am asking you for this one plea.
Let me be the one
that you give to her
for she has been the one to rescue me.

Lord please help me be
Exactly what she needs.
Show me what I need to do.
This is my prayer to you.

Girl:
Lord Ive tried to be
exactly what you've asked of me.
And now I'm asking you
to let me be the one to see him through.

Lord please help him see
that I'm what he needs.
Let me love him all my life.
This is my prayer tonight.

Both:
And I know I don't deserve this
But I'm begging you, you see.
I don't know what to do
Except to pray to you.
Lord I hope this prayer gets through.

(Girl) I know he needs me now
(Boy) I know I need her now
(Girl) Lord let me help somehow
(Boy) Give me her help somehow

Both:
Lord you can see us through
All we need is you.
And if its your will somehow
Start now...

Girl:
I will love him all my life.
Let me be his perfect wife.
Show me what I need to do.
Lord I do it all for you.

Boy:
I will love her all my life.
Lord just let her be my wife.
Show me who I need to be.
All I ask is for her to see.

Both:
If we swallow our pride
and face all of our fears
We can get through alright.
And be much happier here.

Lord this is my prayer
