The stare that blinds me everyday
The stare of the girl that wants to stay
Shes a youthful child (such an innocent face)
She looks like shes twelve, but thats not the case
She trails my footsteps and on me she sets sights
Then she doesnt stop staring, like a deer to headlights
Her immensely large eyes stop whilst they follow my hands
She studies my walking, my talking, my stance
When I look back at her she wont turn away
She gets a confused smile and her eyes always stay
For lunch I go to my secluded place
But, she follows me at a similar pace
I sit, feeling warmed by simple needs
Then I drop my bag in the sea of weeds
She rests her head on my shoulder, and I let her
stay
She didnt do anything wrong, why just push her away?
Then we started to talk, and laugh at life
Her problems and mine (such as my knife)
And we laughed, and we smiled, then that stare had returned
But, something special happened, something now I have just learned
I stared back at her, and on my fingers was her chin
Our faces moved in closer, with a burning deep within
My fingers left her chin and we embraced each others shape
Our arms were wrapped around each other, with a feeling of escape
Then it ended, our lips skins began to touch
The softness of hers made it not feel like much
Still, it was great when we both came as one
Twas a very complex feeling, it could simply stun
