Today you made me smile
Though that's nothing new
Heart beating fast
Totally in love with you.

Today you made me laugh
Something that occurs each day
Never once did I think
You'd make me feel this way.

Today you made my heart melt
With the things you said
Don't know how to explain it
Love's taking over my head.

Today you made me love you more
Without even having to try
Everytime I think of you
Let out a contented sigh.

Today you gave me butterflies
Simply by being there
Darling, do you realize
How much I really care?

Today was when I realized
I'm deeply in love with you
Imagining how blessed I'd feel
If you were to love me to.

    This is a really nice poem. Again, on the simple side, but I liked it more than your other one.

    I liked the ending a lot, because it's sort of negative; as if the persona does not have the person spoken of, they only hope for it. Yet throughout the rest of the poem, it's positive. It constantly expresses thoughts of love, and that's always a beautiful thing to read.
