Why do I still care?

From the day that we met I trusted you.
With my heart and soul.
With everything I had to give.
Was I wrong? I gave you my heart.
Now I sit here and wonder if I made a mistake.
Should I have given you my heart?
Or should I have kept if for my self?
We met so unexpectedly.
It was love at first sight.
You were perfect to good to be true.
I was just ordinary.
You took my heart and broke it.
My only question is why do I still care?
