DAY DREAMS

A single tear

Dripping down her face

Life is such a lonely place

Death has spoken to her today

In words of black and blue bruises

The knife is held steady at her heart

She should have known this was coming from the start

Murdous Voices silently screaming

She bows her head and starts singing

"One day you will see how everything was meant to be"

As she watches him enter the room

She pushes the blade in knowing the end is coming soon

Slowly the light begins to fade

She watches as he gets on his kness to beg

"Why why did you do this to me"

A smile spreads across her face

As she awakens to know her place
