Ironic Friendships

by Anna La Fleur   Mar 14, 2007

How ironic, I think it is,
That two people connected by lies and betrayal,
Would be such great friends in a short time.

One would think if they were to meet in such a way,
That they would instantly hate one another,
And constantly search for a way to bring the other down.

The thought both confuses and delights me.
Confusing for the circumstances of their meeting.
Delight for the friendship built from it.

Who said you can't make friends of anyone?
