Friendly-Enemy

by PygmyPuff   Mar 14, 2007

Nothing is like it was
Everything is so different
It's time that separates us,
And flies away like the wind.
It takes just a day to change the history.
One day a friend, is now an enemy

The remembrance of childhood;
The remembrance of innosence.
It unites us in our past,
Forgotten secrets lost.
But time pulls us apart.
The change of heart

Nothing is like it was
Everything is so different
It's time that separates us
And flies away like the wind
It takes just a day to change the history
One day a friend, is now an enemy

I really liked it. I like how you wrote about change and how something as simple as time can drastically create or destroy something; like a friend turned enemy.

    I liked the lines,
"It unites us in our past,
    Forgotten secrets lost.
    But time pulls us apart.
    The change of heart"

I think those lines really got to the true subject of the poem and portrayed it nicely.

you did though have a couple spelling errors though such as, "innosence" in line 8.

Overally I liked it and thought you did a good job.
