You grasped my right hand and put an ice cream cone in the left
You were always there to kiss my boo-boo
And when I was down you let me snuggle in your chest

There are many ways to describe love but a few to show it
But you found every way possible
And I have constantly been appreciative
Even if you did not know it

I never had the right to ask you how much you loved me
All I could think was that only god could love me more
I am thankful for all you do
And you are still here with me in the age of age of The Rebellious Teen

You found all expressions of love and compressed them down to all you do for me

You support me in my passions
You tell me I love you every day
And what you do makes me grateful
Sometimes I do not know what to say

Through the days good and bad I have gained confidence from you being there
And because of all your actions I can end with this phrase:
These are inadequate words to show just how much you care
