Confessions of a Prayer

by Jenny   Mar 15, 2007

Go away I plead, yet your still here.
Taunting at my fears.
Looking in the mirror.
Watching the horror in my eyes.
Which holds all my lies.
That says I will die.
As you tie up your confession.
That says I hate my reflection.
Searching for the perfection.
Leaving your unanswered question.
My heart finds the diversion.
Behind this devastating mess.
That once laid me to rest.
Will you end my pain and suffering?
By taking my hand and leading me
to heaven, to watch over Kevin?
And answer my prayer of freeing
my mind, and forgetting thee unkind?
To live to the fullest of my dreams
and never have to scream.
