I miss you Daddy

by Daisy if you do   Mar 15, 2007

Salt and Pepper hair
Skin tanned by the sun
Distinguished man
Of about six-one

Little crooked smile
Eyes of Hazel Green
Weight about 180
He was tall and lean

Things that I remember
Most about my dad
He was always there
When I was feeling sad

Manners and morals
Words to live by
Chin up, walk proud
Always question why

Unconditional love
Never being biased
Say what you mean
Always show trust

Calloused hands
With a tender touch
He loved his children
So very much

I miss my daddy
More every day
And I miss him more
Than words convey

Happy Birthday Daddy

This is a beautiful dedication to your father. Sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be but keep that chin up.

It is so sad that your father is not with you on his birthday but he must be looking down on you from the Heavens .... smiling so proudly for the wonderful daughter you are.
I have a saying that I live by and on those days when I miss my loved ones the most I always remember ....
That those we love that have past on are
never far away... all we have to do is close our eyes and they are always but only a memory away.
Beautifully penned poem Dixie ..... your Father must be so proud!

    Take care
    Luanne
