Great poem, flow and choice of words is awesome!! One thing, and I'm not sure if you meant it to be like this, but

When he dissappears pas the bend.

Shouldn't pas be past? lol, but other than that, awesome poem, I love the rhyming the rythmn 5/5

I really liked this poem. The beginning was very strong and I especially liked the lines,
"But within those eyes teased a smile,
One oh so sincere,"
I love the way you worded that. Your lines are very poetic and beautiful, lyrical I think. I have to admite though that the second-to-last line didn't end well. It seemed too blunt, and wasn't very poetic to me.
However, the poem itself was so lovely I still consider it an excellent read. Great job
