The one who held my hand!

by Yasmine   Mar 16, 2007

Fallen down on a land,
So rocky, so hard.
Lost, confused,
and confined...
Unable to walk,,, unable to talk..
I cried, a silent cry,
Looking at the chair,
My eyes spoke
silent words..
Hold my hand,
Show me the way...
That's all my tears say,
It's just unfair
Being misled,
Mistreated and misunderstood.
I held down my head,
And in despair, said
To stay here is no good.
There you showed up..
Like a balm on a broken heart,
Like a drop of water on a thirsty land,
Like a sparkle in a dark night,
Like a breeze, like a shadow
In a hot day..
And you were the one
Who held my hand!
