Too late

There is always going to be that one thing you wish for,
But never get.
That one mistake you can never take back.
Most of all, that one memory you would do anything for.
Even though I put you through a lot,
I wish I could forget how I treated you,
And I hope you can forget it too.
I was wrong and took you for granted.
