Against My Better Judgment

by Sarah Ann   Mar 16, 2007

His precious eyes enslave me
In a warping mist of ecstasy
And I don't mind the sour taste,
Of all the conflicts we have faced.
Because his kisses are like the sun,
Basking me on a wintry day
And taking all my pain away.

I don't mind laying here
Until the skies fall down on us
On the beachy sands. Oh, lovely lust.
He takes my deferred passion,
Has the strength to make it happen;
Pictures move and come alive
And I am dancing right through life.

His beauty is imperfection
A fallacy in resurrection
That such is captivating my soul,
He has already took control.
And I have vanished into a fairytale
Against my better judgment
My heart is screaming..."This is it."
