My Vow

by Ashley Ann   Mar 16, 2007

The greatest promise that Ive made
Is to the one that loves me most
Someone wonderful and so sublime
He's thinking of me all of the time.

I vowed to be chaste
-Until marriage that is..
No matter how strong the temptation
It would only add complications.

Sometimes keeping the promise gets tough
But do I give in?-no, I don't
Because even though I love Thomas
I will never break my promise.

I stick to my word
And I put the Lord first
Sure, Thomas loves me a lot..
As much as God?-I think not.

Jesus Christ died for me
-Very painfully, I might add
So, to show my thanks and admiration
I give my love and obediation.

The greatest promise that Ive ever made
Has not been broken, and will not be
True love waits and so will I
-Waiting until marriage, waiting on high.

Great topic-its great to be active in what you believe. The use of some words are wring, such as sublime. In that context it has no meaning. Great flow, simple structure. Keep it up.
