She's got her way

by Independence Forever   Mar 17, 2007

She can do what she wants, she can choose her own path
she knows not pain, suffering, alcohol, drugs, and wrath

she's got the power to move me but she does not abuse it
with a quick smile she continues where she feels fit

with a quick joke i make her laugh softly
she gets mad at me but surrenders often

she's got her strong will to use for her ways
if i beg her she still never ever stays

a soft answer are her cordial ways to talk
the type of person to go with on a long walk

she's got a few men's hearts in the palms of her hands
if she realizes it she hides the emotion in desert sands

she never offends or slanders anyone who doesn't deserve it
and most of all, she has her way, and from that she'll never quit
