Sing for me angel, one last time

by Independence Forever   Mar 17, 2007

Sing for me angel, one last time
it's time to end life's little rhyme

i have an errand to do
but i cannot fool you

you know I'm going to take out that rival
I'm doing it for your future survival

sing for me angel, while i load my gun the last time
i ain't worth much in this world, maybe one lousy dime

sing me your song, like mockingbirds in heaven
let's see if my lucky number is still seven

i don't want to do this angel dear
but to let this guy live, is my big fear

one more time angel, sing for me please
let this last moment stay, let it freeze

wish me luck, I'm taking him and his men on
but don't stop singing, even when I'm gone

You know what this really reminds me of ( i dont know if this is the right thing but when i read this poem this is what i thought of): i thought of a man going against and army alone and telling someone like his garudian angel to sing to him one last time b/c he might not come back and to still sing when he is gone....i really like this poem it made me think alot about some things ....
