This poem was so sad, yet so beautiful. You asked me to tell you how to make this better, but I really don't have an answer for you. I can't say it's brilliant, or that it's the best poetry I've read. But from reading what you wrote, I can see it came straight from your heart, and I think you should keep it how it is. You knew your cousin, and these are YOUR words to her. Don't let anybody change that. :)

This is extremely sad. I am so sorry that you and your entire had to go through something like this its a very hard thing to do especially when there isnt really anything you can do to make things better except spend time with her in the end etc. The idea I really loved but the flow was a little bit off, I think that if you lengthen the lines or add some more poetic devices into it, it would be much better. Nice work.
