These Little Men

by I Seem to be the Heartless   Mar 17, 2007

They're talking to me,
These little men,
Telling me to do things,
Saying they'll be my friend.

I've never really had a friend -
They always run and hide.
But now I'll finally have some friends,
Even if it's just in my mind.

But they're NOT only in my mind,
They really are real!
They tell me what to do,
Tell me what to feel.

And even in this white padded-wall room,
They tell me what to do.
They're whispering in my ear,
Telling me to kill you.

But my arms are tied
And I cannot move,
So you better get out of here
And you'd better go soon!

I'm running into the wall,
Hitting my head.
And I'll continue to do so,
Until I am dead.

But still the little men
Will continue to live
And orders to someone
They'll continue to give.

Again, the build up is great. Good imagery as well.
