Everlasting

A diamond shaped glass pendant,
Pointing toward my heart,
The sign of never ending friendship,
Lasting more than just the start.

The cherished yellow photos,
And memories of us,
The scrapbook pages filled and filled,
With writings, songs, and love.

We stare back in amazement,
With never ending tears,
At the walks along the forest,
And wishing upon bright stars.

Our reminiscing brings us back,
To that everlasting joy,
To the memories of crisp cool mornings,
And watching the snowflakes fall.
