Forever And a Day (The Anniversary Poem)

Each laugh that we've shared
Every tear that we've cried
Has been kept in my heart
And never has died.

We've loved and we've hated
We've dreamed and we've hoped
But when the times got hard
We helped each other cope.

You've been my salvation
My getaway from my fears
You're there to hold my hand
When hatefulness rears.

I can't imagine life without you
As funny as that seems
Your face is in the sunrise
Your laughter in my dreams.

You said forever
When you gave me a ring
But that little piece of metal
Doesn't mean a thing.

You've kept true to your word
Just like I knew you would
And we'd fly away together
If only we could.

But we can't do that
So this is what I'll say
I'll love you forever
Forever, and a day.

    Aw. Omg. that was so sweet. It was very romantic & just breath-taking! Such a sweet dedication to someone that you love. I know exactly how you feel.. Love is such a beautiful thing, sometimes :]

    ^ I loved this stanza. It was so very unique & descriptive.

    I also really loved the part where you said 'I'll love you forever. Forever and a day'. I think that's what it said. I dont' remember exactly but lol. I loved that. It was really sweet.
