Why?

As we all know life is unfair,
But how unfair does it have to be?
Is it supposed to trample on you?
Or make you bleed?

Life, how can you make these feelings so?
How can you make me hurt like this?
Is it your goal to cause pain?
Or to make me live in vain?

We all make mistakes,
This is true.
But why do you make it so that one can not forgive,
But so that they always remember?

I really am sorry,
I never meant to do it.
I wonder if there's any way he'll believe me.
He says he forgives but I know he hurts.

I was pressured,
And this I know he understands.
Life, why couldn't you make me stronger?
Make me say no.

I never meant to hurt him,
I did it out of lust.
And I wouldn't be surprised,
If he has a lack of trust.

For now I am just thankful,
Especially since he still cares.
And I am just glad he still loves me,
And that he didn't leave me as he should have.
