Runaway from today
I want to run from all the bullshiit
I want to run away & leave it far behind
I just had enough, no more being kind
I Will find my way
maybe hang out by the bay
Run with the horses
drive fast porshes
Maybe get a little house on the country
lay in the grass, it will only be me
With Nothing to worry about
& no one to doubt
Just me & the nice breeze
I could do whatever i please
Maybe climb the highest mountain
make a wish, throw a penny in the fountain
Wish on stars
& dream my dreams
Catch some fish in the clear streams
Just look up at the sky
& watch the clouds pass by
Drive a big tractor
Maybe go on fear factor
I just want to run away.
& yes i will still pray.
I could go to the river
& if i wanted to, be a giver
I wouldn't have to worry about anything
I could just leave in the spring.
I would ask you to come.
but that would be kind of dumb.
I just want it to be me.
