God my best friend

Jesus you've always been my best friend
ever since i was young
just a wee Lil girl
in my little dress
i used to say Jesus make me into
a pretty girl
and hear i am a pretty girl
you've always been my best friend
i can tell you everything
but for some reason I've drifted away and
i need to get back on my feet
because i cannot survive without the love of Jesus cause i can no longer tell you everything
cause I've drifted way apart
when i was 5 i used to think that my mom had two husbands you were my real dad and my real dad was my step-dad
but i learned quick that you were both my dad's and he was my earth dad and you were my heaven dad
i love you so much Jesus
i just need to get back on my feet
and be closer to you
become not so much of the world but more of you
Jesus i call to you
to be closer
and more faithful
more grateful
to love you more than anything
and now i give my whole heart to you Jesus you are my best friend ever since i was a Lil girl saying Jesus take me away from these Lil girls and boys teasing me because i cannot take the pain its to hurtful
you helped me all through life and all through my hurts and also i want you to take me away from the pains and games of the other kids half the time i feel like I'm different because most of the time i give into peer pressure but i cant i just cant cause i love my lord to much and your my best friend i just wanna be closer to you like i used to.
