My Letter to You

I know that it's been a while,
But I can't help but think of you.
And about what we used to be,
Oh, how beautiful it was.

Why did I have to leave?,
Why couldn't I stay with you.
Even if it's just for one more day,
That would have been enough.

Your smile and laughter,
I keep hearing.
Your eyes and lips,
I keep seeing.

And I miss the times,
When you hit me playfully.
Sometimes it was hard,
But yet it brought us closer.

And you know that I hate goodbyes,
That's why I chose to kiss you instead.
But it's goodbye from me again,
It's only just for now though.
