How do you know?

How do you know?

How do you really know?

My biggest fear is the unknown
And the truth is, no one really knows
What is forever?
How does one make that kind of promise?

And if I did know
Maybe I'd take it all for granted
But the unknown burns inside me
Eating at my soul, filling me with doubt.

Distrust. But it is not you.
It is love that I distrust.
It is forever that I doubt.
I want to believe, I do.

My heart feels so heavy
This love can be too much at times
There are no words that could ever explain
This love, this heart, all of it.

It is bigger than anything I've ever known
By loving you I face a certain fear
But I do not over come it.
Sometimes it rules my mind.

I need you here right now
I need you to chase the fear away
comfort me, smother me, love me
Calm my pounding heart.

The sound is deafening
There is a ringing in my ears
A burning deep inside.
It weighs a ton.

How will I ever know?

How will I ever really know?

I've noticed in your poetry you consistantly have great ideas and you can tell theres alot of emotion behind it and for the most part your poetry is very good.... but to improve and get that much better.... try organizing your thoughts a little more and try to make it so that as your reader is reading your work they can feel in themselves all the emotions you spill onto the page
