From A life that used to be

by e LIZ a beth   Mar 18, 2007

Frozen tear drops cried in winter
mind set to panic mode
as chaos slowly fills her life
from this broken abode

old and dusty furniture
cobwebs fill the room
from a life that once was
with nothing left but a tomb

going trough old boxes
filled with heartache and with pain
remembering all the times
they'd sit on the porch in the rain

looking at the swimming pool
covered up with rustic leaves
wondering how he left
as her heart slowly bleeds

as the day comes to an end
the girl looks back to see
a broken, old, and empty home
from a life that used to be
