Dead of Night

by x Mo x   Mar 18, 2007

In the dead of night
The air grows still.
I am filled with the silence
That rings out so shrill.

Engulfed in the darkness,
My heart beat slows.
The new moon is up
As the darkness grows.

The warmth of the sun
Is nowhere to be found.
The grass curls around me
As I slip to the ground.

You're not capable of writing a bad poem are you?...*envious*... I feel like I slip back to the darkness everynight, when I am alone with no one to support me.
