Wipe My Teary Eyes

You were the one to talk to when I was in need,
When I was down, you gladly took the lead.
You were the one, who cared how I felt,
The one that made my heart and soul melt.

Now I have no one to wipe my teary eyes,
You made me feel so good, but did it with lies.
Now I'm alone, to cry on my own,
No longer when I need you can I call your phone.

You pick up my broken pieces off the ground,
And I felt like a queen with this new love found.
Little did I know that all of what you said was fake,
Now I can't help but cry as I lay in bed awake.

I lost the one that wiped my tear eyes,
I wish all the things you said weren't lies.
But I can't change you, I just feel ignored,
I gave everything to you...the one I adored.
