The Sweetest Lullaby

I can't imagine the feeling that I endured.
I felt your heart beating through my skin.
It was like a dream that I envisioned awake.
And it was love I felt starting all over again.

Laying on your bed laying your body on mine.
Kissing my soft lips as you touch my face.
I knew I didn't have nothing to worry about.
Because at that moment I was in a different place.

I heard you breathing heavy in my ear.
Every inch of you touched my skin and my heart.
I heard the angels sing to us the sweetest lullaby.
And right then and there my burdens fell apart.

Only God knows how we feel within our souls.
I could only feel you loving me more.
My heart beats faster thinking about you now.
And everything seems different than before.

Underneath your covers our worries drift away.
As you get closer to me it gets harder to breath.
I feel like I walk above the world now.
And today I felt myself setting itself free.

I can't even sleep knowing it happened today.
Today I never let the good pass me by.
All I heard and felt was love burning in my body.
And the angels sang us the sweetest lullaby.
