The t.v's screaming and
the music's blaring
I know why both
Shout so loud
It's the silent battle
between two arguing parents
Do either of you notice the silent child
The one in the corner
She has homework to do
but can't concentrate
The noises are ringing in her ears
The constant replaying of the shouts
And now this silent battle
What else can you do
To make this life hell.
